A Pilgrims Path

This interactive map shows the places where St Joan of Arc certainly (green markers), probably (yellow markers) and possibly (red markers) passed through during her short life.  It also includes places of Johannic interest and locations where her statues, monuments and pictures can be found (blue markers).

Clicking any marker will pop up a description and any photos and links relevant to the place.  Where possible, the markers have been placed as closely (within a few feet) to the actual spot where the object is to be found to facilitate their discovery for anyone at the same location.

We update this map as often as new discoveries are made.

Societies

Association Universelle des Amis de Jeanne d'Arc is a society of the friends of St Joan of Arc, founded in 1953 by General Weygand, a descendant of the family of St Joan of Arc.  Pope Pius XII commissioned the Association to: "Extend the mission of the French national Saint by prayer and apostolate."
The Association has broadened this commission by committing itself "to deepen the knowledge of Saint Joan of Arc in all its aspects: scientific, artistic, moral and mystical, and to diffuse the results of this research as widely as possible."  [French site]
